About Anyang
Anyang hosted a delegation from Hampton in late 2008 and in the past has sent some of its City employees to work in Hampton as part of an exchange program. Anyang is just about 40 years old but already has a population of over 600,000, making it the fifteenth largest city in South Korea. It is located about 25 miles south of Seoul in a region famous for its grapes. Hampton and Anyang have been sister cities since 1989.
Volunteer to Work with the Anyang Coordinating Committee
Planning activities to celebrate the culture of a sister city, hosting visitors from a sister city, or taking a trip to visit a sister city all require a huge effort from several dedicated volunteers. If you have an interest in the culture, history or people of South Korea, please join Sister Cities of Hampton and volunteer to serve on the Anyang Coordinating Committee.
